Lifelinks: Lifelinks are a great place to find love, trust and a wonderful Christian family to help you in your faith walk. This year we will have a Wednesday night group that will meet in the Fellowship Hall. this will be a fun, casual group that will welcome new members any time. If you would like to be a part of one of our LifeLink families or if you have any questions about them, please call Robin at the church office 272-2069, ext. 10.
Sunday School Class Break: Due to the busyness surrounding the Holiday season, we will be taking a break from our Sundays @ 9am classes. Starting December 14th thru January, there will not be any adult or children's 9 am classes. They will resume on February 1, 2009. The 10:30 classes will also be taking a shortbreak for the holiday season. There will not be any 10:30 am classes on December 21, 28, and January 4, 2009. We will have activity bags for the kids during worship service on these three Sundays.
Christmas Eve Candlelight Service: Plan to join us for our annual Christmas Eve Candlelight Service on Wednesday, December 24th, from 9 to 10 pm. This will be a wonderful experience for you and your family as we gather together to sing Christmas carols and celebrate the birth of Jesus Christ, the Light of the World! (No child care provided during this service).
Clarity - Bringing Christmas Into Focus: This is our December sermon series. Please invit your family and friends to join us as we learn how to have a Christ-like vision for the Christmas season.
Thank You!! To all of you who helped in any way at all during Bethlehem Revisited we say thank you so very, very much. We could not have shared the story of Jesus with so many people without all of your help.
Bethlehem Costumes: Please return all costumes to the church office in the next couple of weeks. We ask that you do not keep them at your homes till next year. We would like to get them sorted as soon as possible and put back into the closet upstairs.
Dishes: If you made pies for Thanksgiving or cookies for Bethlehem and brought them in your own dishes, please stop and pick them up today. The dishes will be on the table outside the Fellowship Hall.

Please stop by the bulletin board in the foyer and pick up a music ministry brochure. This will help you to get started and answer any questions you might have.

Anyone wishing to promote an activity or event at HPCC will need to complete and submit a form to the church office three weeks prior to the event date. Doing this will help us to better communicate the needs of your ministry. If you have any questions, please see Ashley Swanson or Robin Drake. You can pick up a form from the bulletin board.

Children's Ministry: The new year is almost upon us and so is the opportunity for you to serve in our children's ministry. We are looking for teachers and helpers for the 10:30 worship hour to go on the regular rotation or to be a substitue. We are now offering tapes of the worship service to anyone who teaches during this time so that you will not feel you are missing out on anything. Please contact the office or let us know on your connect card if you are interested in joining this wonderful ministry.

Our Newsletter: You can sign up anytime to receive the Newsletter right here on our website. Just click on Event Sign-ups and then enter the e-mail address that you want the Newsletter sent to. There are copies of the Newsletter on the bulletin board for those who do not have or want it sent by email. For those of you who do not have e-mail and access to our bulletin board, please call Robin at the church office 272-2069 to be added to our mailing list.
Free Eggs: Our egg donations are temporarily on hold till after the first of the year. Our lady who donates the eggs had a bit of trouble with some raccoons. She will let us know as soon as she has more eggs available.
Directory Updates: We have updated pages for your directories. Please stop by the office to pick up a copy. A new directory is also available for anyone who does not have one. This is a great way to get to know your church family by face and name.
Encouraging Words Card Ministry: We just wanted to let you know that our awesome card writing lady, Ronni Redman, is out of commision for awhile due to a neck/shoulder problem. As soon as she is well, the beautiful cards will start arriving again. Thank you for being patient and understanding.
Funeral Dinner Ministry: We are seeking 8 to 12 retired or semi-retired men or women and stay home moms or dads to replace our current team. They have served graciously for many years and now need to retire themselves. This team shops, cooks, serves, sets up and cleans up for all funeral dinners done on behalf of our congregation. If you would like to serve in this ministry, please let us know by contacting Robin at the church office 272-2069.
Media Center: There are two new books in the Media Center: Lies Young Women Believe and Choosing Forgiveness, both by Nancy Leigh DeMoss. There is also a new Beth Moore DVD Series (5 sessions) Wednesdays with Beth Vol. 2. Come check us out!
Moppetts: Our meetings started October 2 and run thru May 2009. This year, we have 98 kids and so we need a lot of sitters. Are you available from 8:45 to 11:00 a.m. on the first or third Thursday of the month? Part time or full time, we could use your services in the MOPS child care program. If you can give a little time to this ministry, please let us know on your connect card or by calling the church office.
Baby Blankets: Some of our ladies are making receiving blankets for all the newborns in our nursery. They are in need of some fleece material for both boys and girls. It takes 2 yards for each blankets and donations would be greatly appreciated.
