What inspires you the most?
Watching God change a life, I never stop being amazing at what God can do -- it never gets old!

Favorite Book?
N.T. Wright's Surprised by Hope. This book has given me such hope for both our present and our future.

Best way to spend a day off?
Either hang out with Cyndy (my wife), going for a long bike ride, or playing golf with one or all of my sons.

Favorite Band? Going old school...Led Zeppelin.

Most memorable experience?
All of them have to do with new birth -- the births of my three sons or being able to baptize my three sons. A close third is getting to do Kevin (my oldest son) and Jill's wedding.

What inspires you the most? Great music.

Favorite Book?
Brennan Manning's, Raggamuffin Gospel. The book literally changed my life.

Best way to spend a day off?
Reading a good book or engaging in some sort of athletic ativitiy.

Favorite Band? Jimmy Eat World, Sigur Ros, or Jon Foreman. 

Most Memorable Experience? Getting engaged and getting married to my great wife, Steph!

What inspires you most? 
Jesus and all the wonderful blessings he bestows upon us all, as well as those that go beyond the call of duty serving the Lord. 

Favorite Book? I can't pick just one: The Bible, Searching for God in America, FDR, and Lord of the Rings (which is also my favorite movie series along with Star Wars and Indiana Jones!) When I was a kid, I loved the Chronicles of Narnia books...Well, I guess I still do!

Best way to spend a day off?  Spending time with my family and friends, helping at church, seeing lots of movies, going out to eat, watching my son, Tyler, play baseball and football and throwing the baseball and football with him. 

 Favorite Band? Alabama, Casting Crowns and DC Talk

Most memorable experience?
My wedding. The birth of Tyler. Walk to Emmaus (a Christian retreat full of special things!)

What inspires you most? A smile. The fresh morning air. 

Favorite book? The Bible, it was so alive during BSF this year!

Best way to spend a day off?  Laying in my outdoor recliner soaking up the sun.

Favorite Band?  I am all over the place on this one because I like a wide range of music.

Most memorable experience? The birth of my two daughters, and a  very close second would be my wedding.

First Job - I had a paper route when I was ten years old - rode the bike, had the bag, collected my dues! Totally Epic! 
 
What Inspires me the most? - God's handiwork in his creation and our lives 
 
Favorite book : I think that Dave nailed it with his favorites! First books I read were Pilgrims Progress and Chronicles of Narnia and Lord of the Rings (well, other than see spot run and goodnight moon)! I love Velvet Elvis and Blue Like Jazz though too! 
 
Best way to spend a day off? - Spending time with Kylee, playing games with friends, eating out or shopping and catching a movie! 
 
Favorite Band? Toughy, I like different types of music, but I can say I enjoy Coldplay, David Crowder, Jack Johnson, and many more 
 
Most Memorable Moment? Meeting my fiance, wife to be and getting married! Spending my life with her and sharing with her all things, and all the embarrasing moments I have had in my life; its pretty humbling!

What inspires you most? Encountering people who live their lives with complete authenticity for the Lord. 

Favorite book? Almost anything by C.S. Lewis, as well as Blue Like Jazz by Donald Miller

Best way to spend a day off? Relaxing with my wife and daughter. It always brings a smile to my face to hear my daughter say, "Dank you". 

Favorite Band? I'm quite eclectic with my music. I like almost anything and my favorites change out quite often. Right now I'm really enjoying a band called "Gungor" as well as Phil Wickham. 

Most memorable experience? There are three: my wedding day with my wife/honeymoon in Hawaii, and then the day my daughter was born. The third is not one singular experience, but rather a culmination of experiences that have shaped and continue to shape my walk with Christ.

First Job? At age 13, cleaning at the beauty shop that my sister worked at.

What inspires you the most?
My husband and my LifeLink. Learning from them as we go through trials and celebrations in life.

Favorite Book? The Bible, it is life!

Best way to spend a day off?
In my PJ's lounging around and watching TV.

Favorite Band? Chris Tomlin

Most memorable experience?
Being baptized with Kenny (my husband) and renewing our vows before God.


Ella Goodman - Counselor

Hometown: Marion, South Dakota where I lived on the farm 6 miles from town. I was born at home under doctor's care. We had home visits then!

First Job? I had a job at First Bank and Trust in the filing department. 

What inspires you the most?
When I realize that the Holy Spirit is working through me to help other people, as in my counseling practice.  To observe people coming in very discouraged and see them gain hope, self-confidence and spiritual direction. 

Favorite Book? The Bible, I read it daily and always find new ideas on how to live. Also, Metford Series, by Jan Karon.  It is about small-town USA and relationships within the community.

Best way to spend a day off? Lunch with friends or reading a good book.

Most memorable experience?
Hiking Israel in 2006. It was a teaching tour with, "That the World May Know Ministries." We walked an average of 13 miles a day for 10 days, up and down mountains and through the desert. I learned so much and I survived too!
