Youth Ministry

At Harris Prairie, we're dedicated to providing a place for students (6th - 12th grade) to connect with God, other students, and leaders who are dedicated to seeing students grow closer to Christ.

Meeting Times: Our junior and senior high students meet on Sunday mornings from 9 a.m. to 10 a.m. in The Cellar (church basement). The junior and senior high students meet in separate roms. During this time, the students learn about God and Scripture in a way that is relevant to the issues they are dealing with in every-day life.

The senior high students also have youth group from 6:30 p.m. - 8 p.m. every Sunday night. We meet in homes to provide a family-like atmosphere where students can let their guard down and have real life convesations about God and their faith. Check out our schedule of homes here.

Ways to help:

  1. Offer your home to host the youth group on Sunday nights. No commitment is required other than allowing us to use your space. No food prep or teaching required -- just your couches. Families sign up to host one month at a time.
  2. Teach during the Sunday school hour. No one cares more about what their kids are learning than their parents. So why not partner with our ministry and help with the teaching? We can help by providing curriculum and teaching materials. Church is one of those unique places where teens and their parents can come together and learn about God.
