Outdoor Church & Fall Family Pumpkin Festival

The festival will take place later that same afternoon at the church and is designed with the entire church in mind.  There will be games for children and adults, a chili cook-off, an apple pie baking contest, and all kinds of great food--even an ice cream truck!

If you have any questions regarding the festival or are interested in helping out, please contact Dave Brodzinski at dbrodzinski@harrispairie.org.

Upward Bound

Excitement is happening all around Harris Prairie. New people. Lives being changed. A new, positive attitude. Many visitors. Throughout our congregation, people are joining in to help make Harris Prairie a place where amazing things are happening. As we join God in his work at Harris Prairie, the future looks bright.

I think the new spirit at Harris Prairie is best seen in the way that we rallied together and are willing to reach out and care for people. I am excited as we continue to plan for ministry in our community. What a chance to do hands on ministry. We want to be a church that serves and helps people -- a community that finds creative ways to make a difference in people’s lives.

The staff and elders believe that it is important for us to become a church of actions. We have seen the future and we believe it is great. We are convinced that God has amazing plans for Harris Prairie. We believe that it is important for us to keep focused on reaching out to our community and caring for hurting people. The leadership team has spent much time in prayer, discussion, and study, seeking for God to reveal where he wants us to go.

Several things are beginning this fall. LifeLinks are starting everywhere. Midweek began with over one hundred people present. We are going to send out another team to Los Perez. On Sunday mornings this fall, we will be studying Jonah and James. Open your heart. Bring your Bible. Invite a friend to The Gathering. We need you to volunteer your time and energy to the kingdom of God and our work in it at Harris Prairie. Give your tithe and more to his work. We are going to need your help. Remember, we are Upward Bound!
